Synopsis:
Mohammad Rahimi is a Municipality employee who moonlights as a cemetery
guard in Kouhdasht in Lorestan Province. He is the father of seven
children. To support his family, he does hard labor for the telecoms and
power companies of the city besides his job as a cemetery guard. He cannot
sleep more than 2-3 hours each day. Although he’s been the guard in a
cemetery for years, he’s very much interested in life and has a very
special perspective on life. The graveyard is very far from the city.
Rahimi uses one of the drawers in the cemetery’s morgue as his personal
fridge and saves fruits and water there. Each time a dead body is taken
away from the drawer, he puts fruits and water in its place.
