synopsis :
The story is
about Iranian national and local music , and all the characteristics in this
film are real . An old man , the main character , has to different jobs :making
traditional instruments and circumcising children (according to Islam
law) . He 'composes' life and death : sorrowful music at cemeteries for laying
to rest the dead in their eternal homes , and happy music for the living . He
is present at other people's grief and happiness . He paints his small house
in white to symbolize a bright horizon in life for himself and his wife.
