Hooshang Mirzaee Was born in 1961 in Kouhdasht lorestan – province (west area of Iran). He graduated from high –school in Kouhdasht . In 1991 he entered IRIB college Islamic Republic of IRAN Broad casting To study in film directing major. During his studying he get interested in painting and Learn it from master Yaghob Amamehpich. His thesis As the Women of Khoramshar , has participated in many well –know international and national film Festivals and won several prizes. He made 3 , 8mm short films worked as the assistant of cinematographer and the assistant of director in some short films .After graduating and Finishing the military service he made the 16mm film Sazeneh which turned to be one of the most successful documentary of Iranian young cinema society and Iranian cinema as well. Almost all short films of Hooshang Mirzaee has won several national and international prizes. he has proved his talent through making his second film Ronak .Ronak has participated in several national and international festivals like Sheffield and Hot docs.
